I opened a window in Halesowen, UK and saw four badgers in someone's backyard wrestling over food. Like, pet badgers. What a wonderful site. - Calvin
Yeah this is absolutely my new favorite thing. I spent an hour on a canal in Amsterdam yesterday immediately after watching a cat sit on a window in Utah. I haven't got it on my tv yet so if someone figures that out hit me up! -Brian

How to Fly a Plane in an Emergency Situation
Sensing a theme for this week's travel section? - Calvin
A few years ago a GermanWings airline pilot committed mass-murder-suicide by flying his plane into a mountain. The next day I walked up to my SwissAir flight in Zurich and discovered it was actually a GermanWings operated code-share. Since that day I’ve taken a train whenever I could instead of flying. And I fly a lot. And in general there aren’t a lot of trains out there. But if I could take a blimp instead of a plane or a train or a car you can bet imma gonna blimp the blimp out of that blimp. A more refined vehicle from a more civilized age. -Brian
Small Planes Over Big Oceans (ETOPS Explained)
I have this love-hate relationship with videos that should be articles and vice-versa. Give this one a shot anyway; it is short and interesting. Also, I didn't know that we are just now certifying planes that can fly anywhere in the world. Seems like we would have already done that. -Brian

I remember as a kid being fascinated by all the world record kids out there solo sailing or flying or paddleboarding or whatnot across the Atlantic on their own. At the time I was super jelly and thought it was awesome. Now I'm like who the #$@ lets their 14 year old sail across an ocean by themselves? -Brian
